How do the resource teachers support my child?
Some of the responsibilities of a resource teacher include:

observing students interact in various instructional environments in order to help identify appropriate intervention strategies, barriers to intervention, and assist in data collection

working collaboratively with other professionals and families in planning programs to meet the needs of the learners

consulting with teachers to develop adaptations and plan for instruction

monitoring progress of identified students

co-teaching
-
providing small group or one-to-one (when necessary) support to navigate assistive technology, use self-management skills, and remediate particular skill deficits
